Description
The ancient and noble tradition of guilloche enamelling involved engine turning or engraving the background metal of the design before firing glass powder at high temperature to create a layered appearance. Today this look can be achieved with die stamping and epoxy resins; still producing a luxurious and rich design but using modern techniques. There’s more than a hint of the Jazz Age with this delicate 12-sided design and a nod to our clothing heritage with the dog tooth underneath the rich blue colour.
